The response I got from posting this question had overwhelming interest.
1. The costs of remodeling is less expensive now as carpenters and painters
need work and supplies are more available
2.Remodeling is still cheaper than buying a new home. Consider the time and
money of selling your home. Also, a new home costs more and may not be
in a convenient location.
3. Keeping your home up to date is always important for the future.
You want to be ready to sell when the realestate market improves.
4. The contractors that are still in business during this recession will also
be there for you in the future as they give great service and have alot of
experience.
5. A home with a great appearance keeps us in better spirits and makes
for a better environment in which to work.
